Ananda, our restaurant interior design & architecture project in Ahmedabad, is featured on The Architects Diary for how it brings Gujarati heritage and craft into a contemporary hospitality space. The design draws from the pol houses and heritage havelis of Ahmedabad, using reclaimed architectural elements, carved details, and courtyard-inspired layouts to shape the dining experience.
The feature covers how P&S Associates wove Gujarati craft traditions like lippan wall finishes and tikri mirror work into the space, along with the Mata ni Pachedi artworks used throughout. Ananda seats around 100-110 guests, with a Private Dining Room for smaller celebrations.
